When a Door Opens: UPI Unlocks ChatGPT Plus in India – A National Milestone
For a long time, subscribing to ChatGPT Plus in India felt like a door that was closed — not because of lack of willingness, but due to the payment wall. That wall has now been quietly, yet powerfully, dismantled.
I personally completed the subscription today — and what made it possible was India’s own technological backbone: UPI. In my case, it flowed seamlessly from SBI → Paytm → Google Play → ChatGPT Plus.
This isn’t just a personal upgrade; it’s a symbol of India’s leadership in open, inclusive, and instant digital payments.

Think of the possibilities:
